"Pearls are like people, they like being seen".

(A conversation)
When a elder sister adorns her young widowed sister with a pearl necklace
much against the young ones desire to get herself dressed up.

Aren't siblings the best?

i wonder where you picked up this line from?

people like to be seen. even if they don't want to be seen, they want to be seen as people who don't want to be seen :)

and sometimes we like to hide our pearls away from the view of people.... because we are afraid that they might get stolen or tarnished!

That's from a movie " Memoirs of.........." (damn) i forget the name of the movies all the time, but remember the dialogues! .....how weird! i know.... will try to recall.

'people who don't want to be seen' bit is cool he heee

But hiding the pearls? mmmm...... i wonder......
I hide my thoughts
my feelings
my weakness
sometimes even my strength....
i guess these guys are my pearls then! :)

memoirs of a geisha?

yes, i think most of us have a lot of hidden gems which we ourselves have to dig out sometimes... but they are there nevertheless!

yes siblings are the bestest, although they can sometimes be unfairly baised, but thats a different topic altogether.

I agree with Guruprasad though, people like to be seen and if they dont then they do want that people see that they dont want to be seen.

Complicated stuff, nice blog BTW.
